The
Ladies
In Zimbabwe most girls stop playing sport far too early. This programme exists to break that pattern and keep them in the game.

of the court
The Panthers ladies programme creates space for young women and girls to compete, build confidence and lead. Some arrive having never held a ball. Some are chasing provincial and national selection. Everyone gets proper coaching.
We celebrate every stage of that journey, from a primary school beginner to an emerging senior player, because the drop-off happens at every one of those stages and we intend to plug all of them.

Why it matters
Self-worth, voice,
and power
This is not only about basketball. It is about what a young woman believes she is allowed to take up space doing.
If you are a player, parent, coach or sponsor who wants to support girls in sport in Victoria Falls, we want to hear from you.
- Training and development
Sessions led by coaches who understand the specific needs of female athletes, not a copy of the men's plan.
- Competitive play
Local leagues, inter-regional fixtures and Panthers-hosted events. Real games, real stakes.
- Mentorship
Players are paired with female mentors and senior athletes who have already walked the road.
- Health and wellness
Fitness, mental health, menstrual wellness in sport, and leadership, built into the season.
