Where Ability Has No Limits

Where Ability Has No Limits

At Victoria Falls Panthers, we believe that basketball is for everyone. Our Wheelchair Basketball Programme is designed to give athletes living with disabilities the chance to compete, connect, and thrive in a sport they love.

We’re building more than just a team — we’re building a movement that celebrates strength, resilience, and inclusion. Through structured training, mentorship, and advocacy, our programme empowers athletes to push boundaries and redefine what’s possible.

Game On. No Exceptions.

We believe your love for basketball should never be limited by mobility. That’s why our coaching, equipment, and programme design are centred on creating a fair, exciting and competitive environment for all.

Redefining Strength

Our wheelchair athletes are some of the toughest players around — physically, mentally, and emotionally. They don’t just play the game. They change it.

Provincial League Participation

While there is currently no official provincial wheelchair basketball league in Matabeleland North, the Panthers are laying the groundwork to change that. Our long-term goal is to build a competitive, fully sanctioned league in partnership with local and national stakeholders.

In the meantime, we focus on training, friendly matches, and invitational games that keep our players sharp, connected, and visible in the sporting community.

We’re not waiting for a league to be built — we’re building it ourselves.

Tournaments & Events

Our team regularly participates in local and regional wheelchair basketball events and exhibitions. These games raise awareness, showcase talent, and help integrate wheelchair basketball into mainstream sports culture in Zimbabwe.

We’re also working to host inclusive events that bring together able-bodied and differently abled athletes, fostering unity and mutual respect through sport.
